Paper Applique!

Made my first Valentine card for this year today! Thought I'd try

to make the base of the card resemble a patchwork quilt; I cut out

patches (squares of paper) with pinking shears and used a pen for

the cross stitches. Bird and hearts I have hand drawn onto card

templates (as shown below) then cut out with similar fabric looking

papers to make it look like Applique! added gems, ribbon and

sentiment. TFL xx

Folded over paper to cut out two at a time!!

Drawn freehand, hearts and bird shapes??? (I know they

look nothing like birds here) and cut out!
