Good Morning and Happy Tuesday everyone. Ahh don't you think

the very generous Mandi, how could you part with it?? Thank you
so much. I have water coloured the image, papers are from PM
signature Blueberry Hill and my local craft shop. Lace, buttons
and ribbon from stash. I am going to enter this into the
Colour Create Challenge this week which asks for Pistachio Green,
Aqua, and Powder Pink, with the optional extra of Buttons, well I
think this fits the bill just nicely. TFL Happy Crafting Sue xx

DL Wallet Card!

Hello everybody, a happy Monday to you all, well what beautiful
weather!! just right for sitting in your cool craft rooms?? I have
a little DL size wallet card to show you today. I have seen a few
square wallet cards so thought I would have a go at a DL shaped
one! I scored an A4 piece of card on my Eazi score board, first
line DL second line A5 half fold, this allows for the flap to sit just
above the the second score line (purse like), this is just a bit
wider than a normal DL card so I also made a box to suit.
I covered the outside of card with this beautiful 12 x 12 paper
from K & Co (Daffodil), edged the flap with lace and added
two pearls.

Tied this beautiful gingham organza ribbon on the inside flap,
I also tied around wallet with bow to secure, (see first piccie)!
For the inside I have used this lovely co-ordinating paper
to cover the side pockets, centre page and back of tag.
This is the view of it standing and also the sentiment which
is on the tag. TFL Sue xx

Guardian Angel!

Little close up of thier Twinkling H20 wings

Good Afternoon all you lovely bloggers, I have another card to
show you, this one I am entering into the Sugar Bowl challenge
this week (13) which is Lilian's sketch also to include the option
to use Kraft colour in your design which I have done. They have
a fabulous prize where you could win the Gorjuss Set 3!!! How
fabby do is that!!! So for this card I have used DCWV Mat
Stack, Once Upon a Time! Fiskas border punch used. Image has
been coloured with Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap, Vintage Photo
and Antique Linen, their wings I have coloured with Twinkling
H20s in Iridescent Blue, which really show up beautifully when
it catches the light. I also used a mixture of water colours to paint
the fluffy clouds that they are sitting on.
Lace was White initially but after soaking it in this little cup of
strong black coffee I have achieved the colour I wanted!

Once dry I ironed it and Hey Presto!
The flower I have made from different size punches and a
circle of lace I cut out. Centre flower is a button. Pearls on
the edge of picture are from stash.

Inside has a beautiful sentiment poem which I found here! Tag has been distressed in the same way, eyelet ribbon and lace from stash. Punched heart added to paper.

I wish!! Ha ha... Hello everybody, where have you all been?
I've missed you all!!Lol, Well I suppose it's me!! So by the looks
of things I haven't posted since mmmm Wow last Saturday!!
I have so many things to post and say as well!! You know
when you have so much you don't know where to start, so you
just leave it....and it gets bigger!!... a bit like the ironing!! Ironing!
How on earth would I know about that? I don't do the ironing??
Ok, any kind of work that starts piling up then!! Ramble ramble,
that's my trouble, sidetracked, rambling..etc; etc;..... So let's get
on with the show.... So today I have made this little card to coincide
with the Just Magnolia Challenge which this week has the theme
"Summer", Ooh my favourite time of year!!! ramble...
anyway, this card also incorporates a bookmark and what better
way to spend a Summer's day than laying on the grass reading
your favourite Book?

So here is the little bookmark out of it's holder. The papers
are from DCWV Garden Party (Summer)!!! ooh and they
are just my favourites at the moment!
Beautiful Ric Rak Trim (Summer)! in Red and White. Beads
I have tied onto the ends of the ribbon to give it a nice weight.
Punched Butterfly and Damsel Fly (Summer)! Lol!

I have punch a large heart and added the sentiment and it also
keeps the bookmark in place.
Inside I have punched a large flower and placed on a paper
Doily, centre stamp (Hugs) same as front, is from Anita's.

Peter Piper Pieced a Piece of Pretty Paper!!!

A little close-up of her pretty little top,,ooooh

Click to zoom in on this piccie, the little flower on the envelope,
the centre heart is from the border punch off cuts as I didn't
have a heart punch that small!! Waste not, and all that!!
Inside. Sentiments are doodlebug rub ons, front I have
rubbed onto parchment paper.
Ha ha ha, can you recite that?? Well over at Just Magnolia
this week the theme is Paper Piecing, I always thought it was
Piercing? a thing that was done with a type of needle tool?
Well it's not as difficult as you think and they have a fab demo
link over there if you are not too sure how to achieve this
fabby effect. Well here is my Little Tilda, all dressed up in her
beautiful (PP) Top, Bow and Trainers!!Lol the beautiful paper
I have used for this is from the delightful DCWV Once Upon a
Time pad, and oh there are some truly fairytale papers in this
pack. Other papers are from K & Co recycled. Flowers have
been punched, ribbons and embellies from stash. I have just
seen over at Roses on Paper a great challenge which this card
fits perfectly, head on over there and check it out. They will
be opening a new outlet store called Bells & Whistles in July,

A Thank You From the Heart!

All papers are from DCWV Green Stack, fabbie little
owl is designed by Sugar Nellie and came free with
this months Craft Stamper.

The little pocket at the front holds the flower tag.
I even made a little envelope for it!
You can see the little 3d owl.

Inside of the card and the back of the tag. All inside
paper and back of tag I have distressed with Tim Holtz
Frayed Burlap. Flower stamp (PM), Thank You, From
the Heart (Dovecraft) and Owl have been stamped with
Staz On Timber Brown. All flowers and hearts have
been punched. Lime Green Organza ribbon from stash.
Back of the envelope.

and front..

Hello everyone, and a happy Friday to you all, what a glorious
day!! Is the Sun back to stay?? Oh I hope so, I do think my
garden has been well and truly watered!!
I have a little card I would like to show you, it's a special
Thank you card for someone special! I have lots of photo's
so you can see how it evolved...........

The heart for the envelope, front and inside has been
punched, you can see I added more distress ink while
the heart was placed on top of this inside page. I drew
the lines with a red polychromo pencil, I then stuck
it just askew to the distressed outline.

PM flower stamp and owl during process.

To make the envelope I opened up a normal envelope
and traced around it onto 12 x12 paper and cut it out
with deckle scissors, you can see I have scored
twice to make an allowance for the depth of card. I
stuck the blue punched heart to the centre to fix
three sides and tucked the top flap in!
I hope you like it, TFL Have a fab weekend, Sue xx

"Rain or Shine"? A Perfect Day!

Well I was meant to be going to a fete today which was cancelled
this morning due to the rain!!! mmmmmmm since about 9 o'clock
a.m. there has been no rain and it's been quite a nice day; What
do those weather people know?? Ha! should have guessed as
my knees weren't aching!!Lol, anyhow I have had lots of fun
in my craft room, I sorted through my photos and deleted loads,
think I get a bit snap happy, one card I had taken 24 pictures of??
ha, just in case! well have made a few cards too and this will be my
third posting of the day!! wow, if only everyday was like this!!
So this little card is for the Just Magnolia challenge this week,
it's a fab sketch by the very talented Rachel! it was really easy
to work with, so for this card I have coloured my Tilda in
water colours and left them a bit more pastel-ly (is that a word)?
I have seen some really lovely cards about with that shabby chic
distressed look and I am quite liking that scene!
So, the papers are from K & Co, Madeline, painted Roses
and are really beautiful it seemed a shame to cover
them up, although this little paper place mat is soooo
pretty too! flowers, sequins and ribbon from stash

The sentiment and the brackets are both PM clear
stamps which I have stamped with StazOn Black
and Fuchsia Pink.

I have cut my little Tilda out and used foam pads to
give her a bit of a lift! Think that's it, TFL Sue xx

"anniversaire de mariage "

Hello and Happy Saturday to all you crafters out there, I have
been having a little sort through my photo folders and have
found a few little piccies I would like to share with you.....
firstly this card was made and sent along with the Owl and
the Pussycat card to friends holidaying in France at the time
of their Wedding Anniversary. I thought these little PB images
suited the occasion. The layout for this is based on one that
the lovely Claudia designed for an old Colour Create Challenge
I have stamped the images then used the heart punch
and coloured with water colours, the border punch is by
Fiskas, lace pearls and ribbons from stash! I am going to
enter this into a fab challenge over on Cute Card
Thursday as it asks for cards made with punches and
die cuts. Hop along over there and join in the fun! TFL Suexx

PB "Packing your Bags"!!

Ooh this little Paddington Bear card I made for some friends
of ours who left for "Bonnie Scotland" last Sunday. They have
upped sticks and are making a new life and building their own
home in Cannisbay, Caithness. This is a link to their blog, if you
have any tips or hints on a self build?? I am sure they will be only
too pleased to hear from you! So this little card has been stamped
with the fabby cute Paddington Bear stamp and then water
coloured, the papers are from mm Fresh Anthology and my local
craft shop, the little Adventure tag is from a set from K & Co,
Brenda Walton Die cuts, which has some really fab and different
elements. Flowers, ribbons and brad from stash.
Happy Friday everyone and Happy Crafting, TFL Sue xx

Thank you, "You're An Angel"!

Distressed and torn back to reveal the Thank you!
You're an Angel sentiment from the computer!

Here is a little card I have made for my Sister. I stayed with
her the week before last, so thought I would make her a
Thank you card! Stamp is from the beautiful Gorjuss girl
Set 2, papers are MM fresh anthology-Eliza (beautiful pad)
flower is hand made with various size circles and lace.
Tim Holtz distress inks used to colour. Thank you stamp
is Funstamps stamped with StazOn in Timber Brown, Lace down
side is from stash, this beautiful little angel button is from a
christening set I think? Here is a close-up...

Isn't it beautiful! I have just seen the challenge over at Simon Says
Please click the link, this is a challenge you will not want to miss!!
the one and only Tim Holtz is in on this one!! OMG!! Well I
remember about 5 years ago at the NEC I purchased my first
pad of Distress Ink in vintage photo, vague memory of someone
doing a demo (was it the great man himself)??? well that ink pad
stayed there for a good few years and now, well there is no stopping
me!! you know, especially the wonderful Kim Piggotts demo over on
the Just Magnolia challenge how awesome these pads are! So this
little creation fits the bill nicely. Hop over there and join in the
fun. TFL Sue xx

Surprise Bouquet!

Look what's hiding inside that bouquet of flowers!!!

Pull the tag string.....

.....and out pops Squeak!!!!

to wish my Brother in Laws Mum, a Happy 80th
Birthday!!

front and back view of the tag...

Over at Daisy and Dandelion they have a sketch Challenge
with the option to make a card using something recycled, well,
unfortunately my little card does not fit the sketch but the
green paper that the flowers are wrapped in was actually
wrapping paper for some Roses I bought! It's a beautiful
Green and Brown double sided paper, it also gave me the idea
to make a little replica bouquet and add this adorable little bear
to the tag (hiding inside this secret pocket) carrying his balloon
with a little 80 on it and a Happy Birthday message on the back!
All other papers on this card are K & Co Green tones and MME,
Street Market. Roses and Ribbons from stash. Hope everyone
is not too burnt from our little taste of Summer!! I have been
doing a bit of green fingered work in the garden, hence not a lot
of posting (make hay and all that)!! although I have been crafting
so have a few more posts.....Happy Crafting, TFL Sue xx
