"Things to Do"!!

Happy Tuesday everyone, back to the grindstone!!
Well I made this helpful little list holder yesterday.
As I am always forgetting things and need to write things
down, I thought I would make a pretty little place to keep
my lists on, so this "Things to do" board should suffice.
Here is a step by step guide, which you can adapt to suit.....
This lightweight plywood heart should be available at all
good craft shops. The holes were already pre-drilled.
Firstly I glued an ordinary household peg to the back with
a strong wood glue. Make sure you glue it close to the bottom
of your holder.

Choose which paper (or fabric) you would like to cover the
front and back. I cut out two heart shapes from this beautiful
12 x 12 embossed paper which is from K & Co Juliana Lilac.
The front needs to be slightly bigger to enable you to cover
the edges and have a small seam at the back so that when
you place the back sheet on there are no ugly joins.
Now you can embellish to your hearts content! I have used
a beautiful lace surround and Organza Ribbon to hang. I
tied two bows in a fine Lavender Ribbon and glued where
the Organza Ribbon is threaded. I have cut out some flowers
and butterflies from the same paper. The paper flowers are
from Prima Hyacinth, the embellies are from PM, punched
some more butterflies and hearts and finished off writing
lightly in line with the Lilac bud "Things to Do". I hope you
like it! Happy Crafting Sue xx.
