NEW Wine Buff's Double Disc Paper craft CD ROM from Katy Sue Designs
The original Wine Buff’s Papercraft CD Rom, Papercraft Kit and Stamps were launched back in 2010 and were an immediate hit with UK crafters. Drawn by Mike Payne the award winning creator and original artist of the “Me to You” Tatty Teddy, the unique cartoon style and humour of The Wine Buff’s allowed card makers to fill a need for fun handmade cards, which was missing in the papercraft market. The Wine Buff’s are particularly great for men’s cards and this has meant the original CD continues to be amongst our everyday top selling lines.
This week we are excited to announce the arrival of the next Wine Buff’s instalment – The Christmas Spirit. This is a double CD of hilarious, fun, festive cartoons, which crafters will love to send to friends and family. Disc 1 contains the much loved Wine Buff’s enjoying the festive season and perhaps a little too much wine!, whilst disc 2 showcases another of Mike’s brilliant characters “Short Sighted Santa” who along with his reindeer's is having a very busy Christmas.
The Christmas Spirit CD’s contain cartoons, toppers, backing papers, 3D decoupage, stepper cards, snow globes, pop up cards, barrel cards, bottle tags, character cards, money wallets, inserts, sentiments and a whole lot more.
Look out for Create and Craft on Friday for its launch as The Pick of The Week, along with some great new stamps.

"Retro" Style......
...things that are the norm once again!
Hello lovely bloggers a happy Thursday to you all. I hope you are all fine and dandy and have enjoyed and made the most of the lovely sunny weather we have had, don't
know if that was our Summer? anyway we always have crafting and creating to brighten our
days! So onto two of my latest cards that I really enjoyed making, Retro is definitely making the headlines in a big way and I Love, Love, Love the Sixties and Seventies retro items that I am seeing, so with all that Glamping and Surfing here are two of my own design cards that I had
commissioned and I am really pleased with the outcome; the Caravan template I made actually does rock from side to side and the sand on the Surf board card is just torn paper with an inked sea backdrop, the three little birdies are from a hobby art set; I also glazed those little boards with glossy
accents to represent a good old waxing! I hope you like them and they inspire you.
Now two big shouts that I have been meaning to blog about for eons!!!....firstly some time ago I placed an order with Crafty Individuals and not only were their stamps beautiful and fabulous quality, they also sent me a little gift of some really beautiful little stamps! Now that deserves a mention in my books! thank you for those Malcolm and Jean, please go and check out their Website! also a big thank you to Bev Rochester for my Pro markers which I won in the Just Magnolia Challenge a few weeks back, please check out her blog too as she has some of the most amazing cards. In the words
of Looney Tunes "That's all folks"! well for today anyway, Thanks for looking, Happy Crafting,

Summertime has arrived!!!
Yippee!! ...better late than never : 0) and to celebrate I thought I would
enter the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, they have had a bit of a make
over and it is now held on the first Saturday of each month.
The theme for this month (July) is Summertime.....and the living is easy,
there is also a blog hop to celebrate, so hop on over if you fancy playing
along! I have seen lots of hexagonal shapes on cards lately so I
stamped these lovely little images onto white
card and cut out the shapes freehand, distressed edges with TH Vintage Photo and coloured images with Promarkers.
Papers are BG Lemonade, Oh I do love that pad, the little sentiment.....It's
a kiss, It's a Smile, it's a sip of wine......It's Summertime! was done on PC. TFL Happy Crafting, Sue xx

Magical Snow Globes
Hello lovely Crafters, a very Happy Thursday to you all, :0) xx well, as I am typing this the sun is shining, Oh No! hang on a minute a large black cloud has just covered it up again! Oh well! at least I had a little peek! Firstly I want to tell you something very, very funny; it's really rude and made me blush!!! You know how we like to grab other crafters attention with our Post Title, well........
I think I would have been chucked off blogger if I had posted my first title. I wanted to round my title up in one word.....can you guess what that word was? I will give you a clue; I have been making cards with those lovely display globes and the fantastic new Traditional Christmas Snow Globe CD from Katy Sue Designs....any ideas? well it was.................shhhhh...... Snowglobing!!!......Innocently, moi thought
this sounded pretty cool, are you on my page?........Well, (luckily for me, I wasn't sure if it was one word or two), checked google, well good job I did!!! O.M.G. Oooh Err Missus! I have never heard of that kind of meaning.......well you learn something every day!.........cough! I LOVE MY SHELTERED LIFE! Now, swiftly getting back to my cards, This CD has 20 of the most beautiful scenes for you to display in those lovely globes or as you can see from my easel card, just as a lovely decoupaged without the globes. The CD also has matching inserts for your cards and amazingly boxes to match, which I must point out, are the easiest ones I have made up. I also
put into the Snow Globe the wonderful Polar White Flower Soft, it works wonders with any snow scene, I have also used their Glitter Frosting to emphasise the snow, which looks so real, you can
just see the difference on the snowflake at the top, the before and after frosting effect. I hope you
like them, TFL, Happy Crafting, Sue xx

I asked for a flower.......
.......he gave me a Garden,
I asked for a tree, He gave me a forest,
I asked for a river, He gave me an ocean,
I asked for a friend, He gave me you.
I love that sentiment
and also this Floral Design CD both from Katy Sue Designs
I have made so many female birthday cards, thank you cards,
thinking of you cards etc;
from this CD, it has so many different flowers and shape variations you can just print off and arrange, all compatible with your Spellbinders dies too! not
that I have any as I don't possess a die cutting machine! ahhhhh, well I am tempted, if anyone has
one they are not going to use or an old one I may be interested in buying it from you, just to get
me started! So in the meantime I will stick with my faithful x cut scissors. Here are two I made earlier with these lovely Viola Flowers, the backing papers are so soft and feminine. Three cards, three days, I'm on a roll :0) xx TFL, Happy Crafting, Sue xx

Senior Moments!!!
Dear oh dear, is there any hope? not only did I link to an
earlier (111) post on WOYWW, I then commented on about
a dozen too!! The thing is, I was thinking why on earth has
someone posted one of my posts from November?? (seeing
my name already up there) has someone hacked into my
blog?? fear not, change my password, inform blogger?? check
my firewall!! are you all confused yet?? Yes? Let's move swiftly
on then, but I did think it was hilarious and look forward to
some more time wasting senior faux pas!
Now getting back to some serious card making, happenings
and utter fabulous creative moments and outings over last month.......
Firstly...
Look what the cat dragged in!! Fresh eggs delivered by a
rather convincingly adorable fluffy affectionate "She Devil"
that is Belle. We think, as she has a ping pong ball to
play with, she maybe mistook it for that?
Next, do remember that week, not so long ago when the Sun
came out? It did, I have piccies to prove it! Well my cousins son
came to stay, so as you do, I took him out and about. We went to
the Prom in my home town of Maldon
...visited my old home town of London :0))))))
this is where my heart is....
Views from the London Eye.... look at that sky!
Here we are, sunglasses to prove it was veeeery Sunny!
He lives in a small town in Lincoln called Brigg and has
never been to London before..... any excuse for me to
pay a visit!
These street artists are amazing :0)
Me and my Shadow, the poem on the pavement is
The Waste land by T.S. Eliot
Big Ben in the Distance
Nelsons Column
Looking out from the National Gallery and below
these mosaics are on the entrance floor in the National
Gallery.
There is a reason why I took these and will explain another
project I am working on in another post.
The Plinth
St James Park
and finally the sunsetting over Kenya?????
No Braintree, Essex!!! :0) I have run out of time again, I have French
Students at the moment and have to collect them, so will try and
fit in some more blogging tomorrow and hopefully we will get
to the cards!!! Happy Crafting, TFL, Sue xx

I'm Wishing on a Star....
Hello lovely bloggers, I hope you are all fine and dandy on this
brisk, rainy/sleety/snowy day! I had packed away my winter
boots last week, only to get them back out again yesterday! I have
been a bit busy of late plus me and hubby had the lurgy! plus had
a few commissions just to make sure I wasn't resting too much!!
so have not had time to post anything but have missed you all!
anyways thought I would show you all my design team sample
cards using the fab new CD, Stamps, Stickers and design sheets
from Katy Sue Designs. They are being showcased this week on none
other than the Create and Craft Channel as their "Pick of the Week"
so tune in and have a little looksie. Some of the designs are just
amazing, you can even use the stickers on vases, mirrors etc;
These I have to say, have been my favourite products so far; talk
about being away with the fairies on this little lot of cards....
...oooh I had sooo much fun......... well here are my cards, you
can judge for yourselves!
I made a concertina box from a tri-fold aperture card and then
added the backing papers to card for the back drop.
This is a side view, I used eyelets top and bottom and then florist
wire to attach those cute little fairies onto the inside. By pushing
the wire back and forth it gave the effect of them dancing by the
moon, oh well did I have lots of fun with this one!!
The outer edge flowers and trees are all from the stickers pack.
The beautiful moon backdrop is from the CD and the dancing
fairies were created with rubber stamps onto black card and
decorated with Stickles, Crystal.
This little beauty has also been stamped with Impress Silver
embossing ink and then heat embossed with Stamp n Stuff -
Kaleidoscope, I also stamped her wing again onto acetate and
heat embossed to set, cut a little slice to fit the wing into, ooooh
how fabby doo does that look? I cut out the leaves and petals
from an old pad from K & Co pink recycled paper, made from
my own template. I did add some gorgeous flowersoft for the
centre pollen, but after I took the piccie!
Here is a little close up of that wing, I then added the little damsel
fly punched from silver mirri card and added Stickles Crystal for
glistening effect and a little pink plastic gem to represent a
droplet of water.
This fairy is from one of the Sticker sheets, so you can see that
the stamps and stickers are all co-ordinated. Stuck onto black
card for extra body, crescent moon cut from own template on
black and silver glitter card. Punch used for stars and dragon
flies. The Dream is from the Sticker pack but again comes as
a stamp too. Little silver organza ribbon to finish.
This one is from the Lunar Landscape sheets and also the
CD, I have decoupaged the fairies to make them stand out.
Sentiment is also from the LL sheets. This emerald green
really does stand out from the crowd.
Ooooh this was my favourite, I used a gate fold card and shaped
the top to form doors. Eyelets used for ribbons and tied together
Those gorgeous trees are stickers; aren't they fab? The fairies
have been stamped using the same process as the Pink Lilly card.
Can you see the little notice? It says " You have to believe to Enter
the Enchanted Wood" this was done using the PC. The believe at
the top again using the co-ordinating stamp set, stamped onto
green shrink plastic with Black Staz On.
Inside the enchanted wood is an array of stickers and background
papers from the CD, the fairies are stickers which I have placed
again onto black card for support, I have added a diamante stone
in the centre of the star and also used a new Flower Soft product
called Glitter Frosting, it is like little snowflakes of irredescent
hues of green and violet. The tree in the centre is also from the
sticker pack.
Next on the list is this centre step card. These papers were
from the CD again, they have co-ordinated them with quite
a few of the spellbinders dies so the shapes come out printed
ready for you to either cut with scissors or to use you spellbinders
dies. I love this colour. The flowers I have punched and used
black flower soft in the centres. These fairies are already printed
onto the backing papers, the CD has either plain backing sheets
or pre printed with fairies and trees.
And finally this little easel card, the Birthday wishes has been
stamped onto the backing papers and cut out.. I have also
decoupaged the fairies and tree to give them some depth.
These were tiny but the effect if so good. Lots of Stickles too
to make them all sparkle.
Well I hope you enjoyed your little journey into fairy land, I
certainly loved making these beautiful cards. If you would
like any info on any of my cardmaking techniques just drop
me an email or if you would like any info on these gorgeous
products you will find them all here.
