"Daisy & Dandelion's Squeak"!

This is Squeak! He is soooo cute!!

This is the other bear in my set from the D & D collection -
Bubble & Squeak! Thought I would paint his fur grey this time
and use this lovely blue and gingham paper which is from the
Laura Ashley "Flock" range and then contrast it with this
vibrant Red!. He is water coloured with my Reeves water
colour pencils. Flowers have been punched with the same
papers and the little border is a stamp which comes along
with this fab set and also eight other stamps!!! so definitely
value for money, these images are a nice size to colour too.
Ribbons and brads from stash. The theme over at the
D & D challenge is friends, so I added this sentiment which
is computer generated. Hope you like him! TFL Sue xx

"A Relaxing Gorjuss Birthday"

This is the other Gorjuss (sitting) stamp I ordered. I painted her
on Saturday when I painted the other one. So yesterday I went
out looking for a pair of trainers!!! and what did I come back
with?......these gorgeous new papers from Dovecraft!!!
Don't you think they are just lush.............................

They are called Wild Blossom! As I love gardening and anything
to do with flowers I just had to have them. After pledging that I
would buy no more crafting stuff!! (My Husband just stood there
in amazement shaking his head)!! famous last words comes to
mind!...... But your Honour I didn't buy any trainers!!!
So as she was looking lovely and pink I thought I would
sit her in this beautiful big Pink (Hibiscus I think)? flower.
I cut out the same flower and two lots of leaves from another
sheet of the same paper. The leaves are so delicate they just
twisted and lifted their own way, which I left to give it a
natura 3d effect and just stuck where they laid flat naturally.
The tiny butterflies are stamped (Stamp is Santa Rosa CA 1999,
another golden oldie) with Staz on from another paper in this
set and then cut out too. I then finished off with some lovely
irridescent stones to make it look like dew drops on the flowers
and glittered to highlight certain parts of the leaves and
flowers and also the flower in her hair. As the ABC Challenge
is G for Glitter I decided to enter her for that. The sentiment was
printed directly onto the paper, I measured the size first and
used a plain white piece to make sure it would print where
I wanted it to, the wording was done using WordArt.
Think thats everything! TFL Sue xx
The cutting out proceedure! I then used 3d foam pads.

"A Gorjuss Easter"

This little card I made yesterday with My new Gorjuss Girl stamp
from Sugar Nellie and the Easter sentiment stamp is from the
Magnolia range. As this card fits the bill over at the
Sugar Bowl Challenge which asks for a Spring or Easter card that
incorporates a Sugar Nellie stamp, I thought I would enter it.
So why not head on over there and join in the fun!
The papers are from MM Fresh Anthology, Sydney Collection.
The paper heart was punched and then edged with water colour,
I only did this after as you could not distinguish between the two
yellow papers, so I placed an old piece of card just slightly under
the heart edge as I painted round. The wooden heart is from
Hobbycraft, ribbon, lace and buttons from stash!

Whoohooo My Very First Matilda!!!

Happy Saturday to all you lovely bloggers, I hope you are
having better weather than us today!! One minute it's Sunny
the next it's hailstones and gale force winds. The perfect
day for crafting I'd say! So here she is folks, this little lady
is called Summertime Tilda with Bow, I have coloured her
with my Reeves Water Colour pencils and also used my Le
Plume II pens. The grass has been made using one of my
Art Impressions stamps and then blended with water
colour pen, I thought she needed something else to stop her
floating in mid air!!! The papers are from MM Fresh Anthology
Eliza and Sydney collection, these pads have some really
gorgeous papers in them. The border across the middle
is from K & Co Classic. The tag I made myself and stamped
with Personal Impressions sentiment, distressed with Tim
Holtz around the edges then added stitching with pen and
finished with pink stone brad. Lace and flowers are all
from stash. I really like the effect of the laced edged paper
it looks a bit like an Handkerchieif and that green gingham
paper makes it look like it's laying on a tablecloth!! I hope you
like her. TFL Sue xx

P.S. I know there are loads of photo's but I couldn't decide
which ones to use!!! xx

Lucky for Some '13'

The Inside of the card, I placed an eyelet in one of his eyes!

Well that's how old my Handsome Nephew is on Monday!! Oh to
be a teenager again?? So instead of playing with my new stamps
I have been making this today, I just thought I'd pop it on
before I go and post it!! The papers are from DCWV
The Rockstar Stack. I used the craft knife to slice down the
inside edge of the guitar so I could place his picture in there.
I printed directly onto the paper from the computer with the
Happy Birthday Sentiment! All other sentiments and No.s have
been printed off seperately and cut out. The stars and small
guitar have been cut from the same papers.

Oooh I've been Tilda'd!! and Gorjuss'ed!!

Well it had to happen sooner or later, there I was just browsing
Sir Stampalot's website, you know how it happens, you look at one
person's blog that leads you to another, then another etc; and
then you end up on a Stamp site oh and they just so happen to
have exactly what you want in stock!! Oh No! So I ordered
three Tilda's and they arrived the next day!! yesterday!! How
fabby doo is that for service!!
So then later on yesterday it happened again, I ended up from
someone's blog on the Funky Kits website??? and they had the
gorguss girls in stock.............so I think I'm gonna have some
fun!!! back soon with my Works of Art!! and no more blog
hopping for me!! tut tut!!

"Easter Goodie Bag"

I made this little bag for my gorgeous niece Mckenzie for Easter.

The Pink hessian bag is from Hobbycraft, I think I may have
bought it last year though!

For the heart shape you can see I have used my pastry cutters!!
the denim was from an old pair of my jeans!
>
For the name and the flowers I used a piece of linen fabric which
I stamped with staz On Fushia Pink. The letters for her name are
from a stamp set and the flowers are from the new CCSR! Which
I then cut out.

I also added a felt flower which I secured with a pink BG Brad.
The lace and fabric butterfly are from stash and the pink buttons
from Woodware. Once I was happy with the layout I firstly glued
all pieces into place and let the glue dry overnight. I then secured
it all by hand sewing all of the items. I am really pleased with how
this has turned out! I hope she likes it!
I saw this cute little egg cup and cosy in Tescos for 2.99 so I
will put this as an Easter gift in the bag for her.

"Spring Has Sprung"!

Well not officially until Saturday I think? but I have made this
little spring card for the CCSR limited supplies challenge! you are
only allowed to use one piece of patterned paper! mmm you might
be thinking! looks like two to me! well the fushia pink paper has
been stamped with the gorgeous small flower from Clares range
so have the larger flowers and the butterfly (how gorgeous
are the swirls on that)?? The patterned green paper is a free
download from clipart and the sentiment is printed from the
computer. The smaller flowers and hearts have been punched
and I have added sparkles in yellow and various brads for the
flower centres. I have used the blanket stitch effect with a pen for
the outline. Think thats it! TFL Suexx
