Thought I'd have a play with my stamps today which resulted in
this simple but vibrant water colour card!

I firstly coloured directly onto my stamp with Le Plume II
pens in Crimson Lake and and Pine Green. Once I was happy
with the effect I then wanted to use my heart stamp (which is
solid) to make the vase.

I used Versa Color Lapislazuli directly onto the stamp
and then spritzed with my little spray water bottle
as I did not want a solid impression. This little water
bottle is from Boots for about 49p, I would highly
recommend it when using any water colours it is so handy!
You can see the paper at the back that I had a few attempts
before I got the right water colour effect I wanted!! Once
happy I stamped onto the flowers to give the effect of a
vase. I then drew a strong outline around the heart with my
Le Plume II Oriental Blue and also drew a base and coloured in.

I really like the simplicity of this card which can be used for
any occasion. TFL Sue xx
